Your private driver meets you in Rome and transfers south to the Amalfi Coast, stopping first for a private walking tour of Pompeii. After lunch you continue to Mount Vesuvius National Park, ascending the volcano's slopes before reaching Sorrento for check-in.

We base you in Sorrento for four nights. One day we arrange a visit to a pasta-making factory to learn the techniques for fresh shapes and sauces, then a farmhouse lunch on the slopes of Vesuvius where children explore the orchards and vineyards while parents taste wines grown in volcanic soil. Another day your driver takes you along the clifftop Amalfi Drive, stopping in Positano and in Amalfi to visit the Cathedral, browse artisan workshops and lunch overlooking the water. Your final full day is spent on Capri, reached by ferry. A panoramic island tour begins in Anacapri at Villa San Michele, with its gardens and sea views, then continues down to Capri village for time in the piazzas.
