You are never on your own. Before you leave, your travel specialist walks you through your trip in a detailed briefing. During the trip, you can reach a team dedicated to our travelers at any hour. If a flight is cancelled, a train runs late or you need medical help, we advise you, speak with everyone affected on your behalf, and make the arrangements to keep your trip on track. Some situations, like a museum closing on short notice, are outside our control. In those cases, we look at every option with you and find the best way forward.
For summer travel, the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como and Venice, six to nine months gives the widest choice of hotels and the best times at the Vatican and the Last Supper. Spring and autumn trips plan comfortably four to six months out. Honeymoons around a wedding date and family trips during school holidays benefit most from an early start, though we regularly arrange shorter-notice trips as well.
