Italy honeymoon packages

Your First Trip as a Married Couple, Planned in Detail

A water taxi to the hotel door in Venice. Breakfast on a terrace above Positano. A late lunch at a family winery in the Chianti hills, with nowhere to be afterward. A honeymoon in Italy should feel effortless, and that takes planning nobody sees.

We design each Italy honeymoon package from what you tell us: the season, how many nights you have, whether you want the sea, the countryside, a city or all three. Then we arrange it end to end. Private transfers between every stop. A guide for the two of you at the Vatican, in Pompeii or on the Grand Canal. Tables reserved in your name. The sample honeymoons below are real starting points, and every one can be reshaped in the adventure builder.

Your honeymoon, planned in one conversation.

Share your dates and the places you have in mind. A planner calls within one business day.

Best for sun and sea

The Amalfi Coast and Capri

Pastel villages stacked above the water, lemon groves, and a sea that changes color through the day. We shape your days here around how you like to unwind: a boat to Capri with a swim stop, the Blue Grotto when the sea allows, a long lunch on the island, or a slow day in Positano with nowhere to be. Evenings in Ravello, above the Gulf of Salerno, when the day boats have gone.

Pair it with three nights in Rome for the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, or with Tuscany to slow down first. Best for couples who want sea, sun and a little city.

Best for wine and countryside

Tuscany, Florence and the Chianti Hills

Four nights in a countryside estate with vineyards and a pool. A private day on the Chianti wine roads, with tastings at two family wineries and lunch where the wine is made. Florence for the Uffizi and the David, then back to the hills before dinner.

Tuscany suits couples who want long lunches and quiet evenings, and it pairs easily with Venice or the Amalfi Coast. Best for food and wine lovers and for October honeymoons, when the vendemmia is under way.

Best for elegance and gardens

Venice, Verona and Lake Como

Begin in Venice, with an aperitivo as the lagoon turns to gold, a night at the opera at La Fenice, and the quiet grandeur of a historic palace. Continue to Verona, city of Romeo and Juliet, for the Roman Arena and a candlelit dinner among the Valpolicella vineyards. Finish on Lake Como, drifting between Bellagio, Varenna and the villa gardens along the shore.

Best for couples who like a little ceremony: a lake terrace at sunset, a hotel with a garden, a slower last few days.

Best for couples who have been before

Puglia and Matera

Lecce’s golden Baroque piazzas, the turquoise water between Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca, and the cave houses of the Sassi in Matera, lit up at night. Polignano a Mare on its cliff. Castel del Monte alone on its hill.

Best for couples who know Rome and Florence and want an Italy that feels like a discovery. Spring and early autumn are ideal.

The adventure builder

Build an Adventure. Make It Yours.

Every sample adventure on this site is a working plan, not a brochure. Build one and shape it the way you would with a planner across the desk. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged. When you send it, an Italy specialist calls to talk it through.

Change the nights

Add a night in Florence, take one from Venice. Every stop is yours to control.

Choose the hotel style

A five-star in the historic center, a countryside estate, or an intimate boutique hotel where you are welcomed like family. We name the property once we know your dates.

Add what you love

Food tours, a private boat day, a cooking class, the Vatican before the crowds. Interests are matched to each city.

Save it, then send it

Save the adventure to My Adventures, come back to it later, and send it to a planner when it feels right.

Anniversaries and milestones

Fifty Years, or the First

Anniversaries are among the trips we plan most often. We begin with a Prosecco toast in your room and a special dinner on the night itself, in a setting chosen for the two of you. The days between are unhurried, with the logistics, from station to hotel, taken care of.

Tell us what you are celebrating, and we will shape the trip around it, adding the small touches you would not have thought to ask for.

“Natalie and the team truly made our 50th Anniversary trip to Italy a once in a lifetime adventure. Every detail was well thought through, along with some generous extras along the way.”

How it works

From First Call to First Toast

01

Tell us about the two of you

The dates, the season, the places you have in mind and the ones you have already seen. Three minutes in the trip designer, or a call.

02

We draft the honeymoon

A route, the nights in each place, the hotel style and the days we arrange, usually within a day or two.

03

We refine it together

Add a night by the sea, swap a museum for a cooking class. Nothing is fixed until it feels right.

04

We look after the rest

Private transfers, guides, tables, a briefing call before you leave and a line in Italy while you are there.

Before you call

Italy Honeymoon Questions

Every honeymoon is customized to the two of you, and we design it as a complete package so that every detail works together. That includes air and local transportation, hotels, professional guides, tours and immersive activities, and the extras that make a trip feel effortless, such as restaurant reservations and practical travel tips. Handling everything ourselves gives us the best control over how smoothly your itinerary flows. Before you leave, a detailed briefing with your travel specialist and clear printed travel documentation prepare you to navigate Italy with ease. Once you are traveling, a support team reserved for our travelers is available day and night.

Most couples pair one city with one slower place: Rome or Venice for the art and the evenings, then the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany or Lake Como to unwind. Couples who have been to Italy before often choose Puglia and Matera, Sicily or the Dolomites. We suggest a route once we know your season, your nights and whether you dream of the sea, the countryside or both.

Eight to twelve nights covers two or three regions without packing every other morning. We usually suggest at least three nights in each place, and four at the last stop, so the trip ends with rest rather than a rush to the airport. Shorter honeymoons work well with two bases, for example Rome and the Amalfi Coast.

May, June and September are the favorites: warm sea, long evenings and gardens in bloom on Lake Como. October brings the harvest in Tuscany and Piedmont and quieter cities. July and August are lovely on the coast and in the mountains, and busy in Rome, Florence and Venice, so we plan early starts and time on the water to keep the days easy.
